Amazon Studios will again invite Amazon customers to vote on which pilots should receive season orders as the company assembles its third pilot season, and the Los Angeles Times' Show Tracker reports that the company has added the thriller "Hysteria," starring Mena Suvari, to the lineup.

"Suvari stars as a neurologist summoned to her hometown of Austin, Texas, where members of girls' dance teams are suffering from a mysterious psycho-physiological illness that may be related to the use of social media. Suvari's character must also deal with her manipulative brother, who is on death row," the story reports.

Shaun Cassidy, a former teen singing idol and actor who is now a TV writer ("American Gothic," "Invasion"), is the show's creator and executive producer. The cast includes James McDaniel, Josh Stewart, Adan Canto, Laura San Giacomo and former "Grey's Anatomy" star T.R. Knight, who plays the brother on death row.

"Previously announced pilots for the latest round of voting include the half-hour dramatic comedy 'The Cosmopolitans,' starring Adam Brody and Chloe Sevigny from writer-director Whit Stillman; 'Hand of God,' starring Ron Perlman as a judge who believes he's been sent on a vigilante mission from the man upstairs; and the comedy 'Really,' created by and starring Jay Chandrasekhar," the article adds.

The piece notes that last time around, Amazon's pilot voting set up four new drama series: Chris Carter's "The After"; "Bosch," based on the novels of Michael Connelly; "Transparent," written by Jill Soloway; and the big-city orchestra story "Mozart in the Jungle."
