Fox saw its lineup of prime-time programs inch up in the ratings Monday night, as the network squeezed out a narrow win over CBS, based on Nielsen overnights for the key 18-49 demo.

TVbytheNumbers.com reports that Fox's "MasterChef" rose to a 1.9 average in viewers 18-49, two-tenths better than a week ago, while "24: Live Another Day" ticked up one-tenth to a 1.5.

The season premiere of "Under the Dome" on CBS was the top show of the night in the 18-49 demo even though it was down sharply from its premiere a year ago, losing 1.1 ratings points to settle for a 2.2 average. CBS led into Monday's 10 p.m. premiere with a lineup of comedy repeats.

On third-place ABC, the two-hour "The Bachelorette" matched last week's 1.5 average in adults 18-49, and "Mistresses" climbed one-tenth to a 1.1.

Fourth-place NBC filled two hours of prime time with a repeat of "American Ninja Warrior," which pulled a 1.4 average in 18-49, while the 8 p.m. special "Harry Potter: The Making of Diagon Alley" mustered a 0.8.

For prime time overall, Fox had the best number in viewers 18-49 with a 1.7 average, followed by CBS (1.6 average), ABC (1.4), then NBC and Univision (both 1.2). CBS was No. 1 in total viewers with 6.9 million, topping ABC (5.6 million), Fox (5.5 million), NBC (4.0 million) and Univision (3.0 million).
