Veteran comedian and actor Robin Williams, whose CBS comedy series "The Crazy Ones" was recently canceled, has entered a rehab facility, TMZ.com reports.

The report adds that Williams has not fallen off the wagon. Rather, the report says, his admission to Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center near Lindstrom, Minn., is meant to maintain long-term sobriety.

Williams is reportedly expected to remain at the facility for several weeks.

"Robin has struggled with addiction for decades," TMZ reports. "He cold turkeyed cocaine and alcohol in the early 1980s and was sober for 20 years … then fell off the wagon. He went to rehab in 2006."

The report quotes a rep for Williams saying: "After working back-to-back projects, Robin is simply taking the opportunity to fine-tune and focus on his continued commitment, of which he remains extremely proud."
