Top Media-Entertainment Reporter Jumps to Wall Street Journal

In case you need another excuse to read the continuing to improve Wall St. Journal, here’s a good one: Joe Flint, one of the best reporters covering media, entertainment and TV, has been hired by the paper.

Writes Tom Kenneally at The Wrap, “Flint, who joined the Los Angeles Times in April 2009, broke the news on his Twitter account [today, Friday, July 25, 2014,] writing, ‘Very excited to be re-joining the WSJ on the media beat and very grateful to the LA Times for five great years.'”

Before he joined the Times, where he’s been featured in the paper’s Company Town blog, Flint had been at the Journal.

The hallmark of Flint’s work is that it’s smart, spot-on, and insightful.
