Is HBO the only network without a show like “Sex and the City?”

A day after NBC said it will air Brooke Shields’ “Lipstick Jungle” on Sunday, ABC said it plans to air “Cashmere Mafia,” starring Lucy Liu, on Tuesdays at 9 when “Dancing with the Stars” is in between cycles.

At Tuesday morning’s press conference announcing the schedule, ABC Entertainment President Stephen McPherson said the NBC show did not affect ABC’s scheduling. “I think there’s plenty of room for two good shows,” he said. It would be catty to ask what happens if the first one’s no good, right?
