Jimmy Fallon to Rule ‘Late Night’

Former “Saturday Night Live” castmember Jimmy Fallon will succeed Conan O’Brien as NBC’s ‘Late Night’ host, the network is expected to announce today, Daily Variety reports. Meanwhile, “Battlestar Galactica” executive producer David Eick will replace Tom Fontana and Barry Levinson as showrunner on “The Philanthropist” after Fontana and Levinson left over creative differences with NBC, the newspaper says.
