PBS Ratings Break With History

Aug 27, 2008  •  Post A Comment

For the past two elections, PBS’ audience for its coverage of day two of the Democratic National Convention was greater than the previous evening’s. But PBS’ Tuesday night convention viewer numbers bucked that trend, Broadcasting & Cable reports. Last night the network earned a 2 rating/3 share, down compared with Monday night’s 2.1/3. On day two four years ago, the network earned a rating of 2.9/4.
