Game 5 of the World Series between the Tampa Bay Rays and the Philadelphia Phillies will resume no earlier than Wednesday evening, weather permitting, the Associated Press reports. Rain ended Monday night’s game in Philadelphia with the score tied at 2-2 in the middle of the sixth inning. Major League Baseball commissioner Bud Selig has tentatively scheduled the game to resume at 8:37 p.m. EDT, to begin after Sen. Barack Obama’s 30-minute ad to air on Fox, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, BET and Univision. Obama’s campaign chose MSNBC when ABC took its time in deciding whether to change its programming schedule for the ad.
