On Tuesday night, the 2-month-old news program “Worldfocus” beat its closest competitor, “BBC World News,” in the overall ratings, says the TVNewser blog. “Worldfocus” is anchored by former NBC News reporter Martin Savidge and airs on many PBS stations around the country. According to TV Newser, the program is up 16% from its lifetime average, while the BBC program is down 15% from its eight-week average.
