Saga Communications, which owns five full-power television stations, said its first-quarter advertising sales declined 17.2% to $26.1 million, Broadcasting & Cable reports. Same-station sales slumped 17.2% from the year-earlier period, with political ad sales declining to $38,000 from $651,000 a year ago, the trade paper says.
