Wanda Sykes, co-star of the CBS sitcom "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and the star of the Fox Saturday late night show "The Wanda Sykes Show," has been chosen by GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Discrimination) to receive the Stephen F. Kolzak Award at the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles on April 17, according to Deadline.com.

In addition, Drew Barrymore will be honored with GLAAD’s Vanguard Award.

Both are being recognized for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in their work.
