Jeff Zucker, in an interview at the Paley Center for Media in New York this morning, Thursday, Nov. 18, 2010, was asked what he did best and what he did worst during his tenure running NBC Universal.

First, Zucker gave credit to his predecessor, Bob Wright, for having the vision to build a significant cable portfolio at the company. 

The best thing Zucker says he did on his watch was build that cable portfolio into a "cable powerhouse at NBC as good as any out there."

On the negative side of the ledger, Zucker said, "The worst thing we did–I made poor choices–I put most of the executives in place in the company. I got 95% of it right. And I got the executives wrong at NBC Entertainment. And we could not turn that around. I made bad choices there."
