Anderson Cooper’s new syndicated talk show is receiving an enthusiastic response from television stations, with at least 80 of them across the country signing up to air the fall-debuting show, reports The Hollywood Reporter.

About 40 stations have signed on for "Anderson" in the last 10 days alone, giving the show 70% coverage, the article notes.

The program is said to be similar to Phil Donahue’s provocative show with a bit of the emotionality delivered by Oprah Winfrey. "Anderson" plans to target women who want to be both entertained and informed, the article adds.

The story, by Elizabeth Guider, adds, "The only other talk show with significant clearances for next season is Debmar-Mercury’s "Jeremy Kyle," which has been cleared in 70% of the country, mostly on indie stations."

Kyle is a popular (and populist) daytime talk show host in the U.K.
