He’s Baaaack: Olbermann Ends Twitter Exile After Three Days — About as Long as his MSNBC Suspension

Dec 21, 2010  •  Post A Comment

Keith Olbermann ended his self-imposed exile from Twitter, meaning that the host of MSNBC’s "Countdown" missed out on just three days of tweeting, reports the Los Angeles Times’ ShowTracker blog.

The story points out that Olbermann’s Twitter exile lasted about as long as his recent suspension from the cable network for political donations.

As previously reported, Olbermann suspended his Twitter account after receiving a flood of angry tweets over an interview last week with Michael Moore https://www.tvweek.com/blogs/tvbizwire/2010/12/interview-with-michael-moore-a.php. The interview featured Moore defending WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, who is accused of sex crimes.

Olbermann apparently changed his mind by Sunday, writing "And we’re back!"
