AT&T, positioning itself against rental competitors Netflix and Redbox, is rebranding its video-on-demand service as "U-verse Movies" to stress the availability of new releases, reports Multichannel News.

The service previously had been branded U-verse On Demand, the article notes.

The service is also touting that it offers movie titles as many as 28 days before Netflix, with the option of watching those films either on TV, online, on mobile devices or using a Microsoft Xbox 360, the article adds.

The service’s current rental titles include "Toy Story 3," "Inception," "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" and "Salt," the piece notes.
