Golden-Voiced Homeless Man Bolts From Rehab Center

The feel-good story of golden-voiced Ted Williams has taken another turn with the news that the reclamation project has walked out of the rehab facility where he was attempting to get clean and sober, reports TMZ.com.

Williams, who was homeless before having his vocal talents revealed in a YouTube video, received job offers despite his admission that he has struggled with alcohol and drugs. He got a second chance after an appearance on the “Dr. Phil” show, when Dr. Phil McGraw helped convince him to check into rehab.

But after just two weeks at the Texas Origins Recovery Center, Williams checked himself out against doctors’ orders. TMZ reported that Williams was on his way to the airport, presumably to leave Texas.
