Fueled by a report on Radar online and a tweet by NBC reporter Jeff Rossen, the Internet was rife with rumors on Monday, March 21, 2011, that CBS CEO Leslie Moonves is trying to be a peacemaker between Charlie Sheen and Warner Bros. and Chuck Lorre.

Lorre is the co-creator of "Two and a Half Men," and the endgame of Moonves’ maneuvering is reportedly to get the show back on-air with Sheen still in it.

A number of media reports said that neither CBS nor Warner Bros. was commenting on the Radar and Rossen reports. 

Given Sheen’s rants against Lorre particularly, that would seem the hardest relationship to heal. Reportedly Moonves is trying to convince Lorre and Warner Bros. to let CBS handle Sheen.
