After finding success with shows that depict young moms and pregnant teenagers, MTV is developing a docuseries with a closely related theme, reports EW.com’s Inside TV blog.

With the working title "Married Young," the show will focus on the tribulations of young married couples. MTV has ordered a pilot for the project, the story says.

The show will track couples as they go through their first year as husband and wife and will feature the challenges of marriage on young people, although without children, the story notes.

MTV has had success, but has also stirred controversy, with its shows “Teen Mom” and “16 and Pregnant.”
