A long-running CBS show has been named the highest-rated television series in the world, Deadline.com reports. Receiving the International Television Audience Award for a Drama TV Series at the 51st Monte Carlo TV Festival was CBS’s "CSI."

This was the fourth time in six years that "CSI" has received the award, which is based on statistics from Eurodata TV worldwide.

The crime procedural, which moves to Wednesdays in the U.S. for the first time in its 11 years on the air, is a production of CBS TV Studios/CBS Studios International/Jerry Bruckheimer.
