The former showrunner and writer of “Lost” has signed a seven-figure deal with Disney to write and produce a major science-fiction project, Deadline.com reports.

Other than the working title, “1952,” the principals are being secretive about details concerning the large-scale feature film, which brings “Lost’s” Damon Lindelof on board as producer. One detail that is out is that besides a theatrical release, the project is taking aim at multiple platforms.

It will be the first film Lindelof will produce in its entirety, although he has kept busy with screenwriting. He has been involved in various capacities on Jon Favreau’s “Cowboys & Aliens,” Ridley Scott’s 3D “Alien” prequel and a “Star Trek” sequel that’s currently in the works, among other projects.
