A pair of Oscar-winning filmmakers who have become household names among movie goers are joining the tide of film talent migrating to television, reports Deadline.com.

Ethan and Joel Coen are set to executive produce a comedy for Fox, the story reports. The brothers co-created a project called "HarveKarbo" with film writer Phil Johnston, and the project has received a script commitment with significant penalty from Fox, the story notes.

The project comes from Imagine TV, the piece adds. "HarveKarbo" is an hour comedy about a bad-tempered private investigator in Los Angeles whose cases often deal with the Hollywood elite, the piece adds.

The Coens have won four Academy Awards: three for "No Country for Old Men" in 2008 and one in 1997 for "Fargo," the story notes.
