A clear winner was named in an online poll to determine the worst television ad of 2011, reports Consumerist.com.

After 115,000 votes, the winner for the worst TV commercial was Luvs Diapers’ "Poop, There It Is!," which features animated babies competing in a talent show to see how much poop they can fill their diapers with, the story notes.

That ad earned 32% of the votes, beating out the AT&T ad featuring a a wife unloading after her husband tells her he signed the family up for an unlimited texting plan (24%), the story notes.

Most grating performance by a human went to “AT&T’s sad-sack wannabe flash mob dancer,” with 32.45% of the vote, the story says.

Most irritating animated actor was a close race, with the CarFax CarFox (32.52%) edging AFLAC’s rapping “major medical” pigeon (29.42%).

The two song categories had runaway winners. Worst abuse of an existing song went to Swiffer’s take on Heart’s “What About Love” (42.56%); and original jingle that should be junked was won by Arby’s “Good Mood Food” (45.8%).

  1. The AT&T spot with the wive dumping on the hubby probably scored so high because the wife’s reaction is something most men have had to deal with.
It is also one of the funniest commercials in years.
