FX is taking a pass on one of two drama pilots it has in the works and is doing some retooling and reshoots on the other one, Deadline.com reports.
"Outlaw Country," a pilot set in Nashville, has been passed over by the network, the story reports. The crime and family drama starred Luke Grimes, Haley Bennett, Mary Steenburgen and John Hawkes.
The decision came after the original pilot for “Outlaw Country” went through tweaking and reshoots, the story notes.
FX is going ahead with its other pilot, "Powers," starring Jason Patric and based on a graphic novel about a world where superpowers are common, the story says. The police procedural is being retooled and reshot, with a possible premiere date now pushed back from the original hoped-for debut this winter.
