NBC has given a full-season order to a new drama, and will give the show a tryout in a new time slot, Deadline.com reports.

The fairy-tale-inspired police procedural "Grimm" received the full-season order and will get a tryout in the Thursday 10 p.m. time slot, the story reports.

The decision comes after NBC gave the series a two-script pickup last week, the piece points out. The show drew a 1.6 rating among adults 18 to 49 during its latest airing on Friday, the story says.

A new "Grimm" episode will air Thursday, Dec. 8, with another original episode airing in its regular 9 p.m. Friday slot the following day, the story adds.

The show features David Giuntoli as a Portland homicide detective who finds out he’s a "Grimm," a person who can see fairy-tale creatures and who must destroy the evil ones.

  1. I wish they’d put Prime Suspect on now at a different time slot. It’s a really good show, but up against the Mentalist it didn’t stand much of a chance. Grimm is a totally different type of show it may do better. Prime needs to be on another night.
