Showtime announced plans to roll out a new late-night show that focuses on the world of comedy, TheWrap.com reports.

Comedian and director David Steinberg will host the new 10-episode interview series, "Inside Comedy," the story reports. With in-depth interviews featuring famous comedy performers and writers, Steinberg will attempt to explain what makes these folks funny.

An all-star list of interviewees is lined up, including Mel Brooks, Don Rickles, Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen DeGeneres and Jonathan Winters. The show debuts on Showtime on Thursday, Jan. 26, at 11 p.m. ET.

Steinberg will direct all the episodes and will be featured as the interviewer. Steinberg is co-executive producing with Steve Carell, along with Charlie Hartsock and Vance DeGeneres of Carousel Productions.
