‘America’s Got Talent’ Isn’t Done Hiring Judges Yet

Even after the widely publicized hiring of Howard Stern as a judge on “America’s Got Talent” — where the shock jock will fill the seat previously held by Piers Morgan — the NBC show apparently isn’t finished hiring judges.

Simon Cowell tells the New York Post that he’s looking for a fourth judge for the show. "I always like four-person panels because it leaves less room for error," Cowell said, according to the story. "It also means you can have different skill sets on there. I am adamant that we need one."

Cowell notes that he and NBC want someone "younger. A girl. Someone who would not be afraid of Sharon and Howard and fight for a different type of act than they would," the story says. He added that he has a short list of names.

Cowell added that he’s "99 percent certain" that Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel will return as judges, the piece adds.
