Cast of ‘Community’ Creates Mock PSA Designed to Save Show

The cast of "Community" has created a mock public-service announcement geared to generating fan support for the NBC comedy, reports TV.com.

The video, posted on CollegeHumor.com, features the actors playing the characters in an ad to "save" Greendale Community College. (Click here to see the video.)

Dean Pelton, played by Jim Rash, says in the ad that the school has great things to offer while being "closed" for a few months due to a grease fire, the story notes. Last month, NBC yanked "Community" off the schedule to make room for the return of "30 Rock," as previously reported.

  1. I ATTEMPTED to watch this program last night… I couldn’t stomach it. It wasn’t funny at all. I ended up channel surfing and watching some bouncy water pool wipeout show on ABC, which was also dreadful. Maybe it’s time for the networks to wake up and appeal to those who actually have money to spend, with no kids in the house. All of the 6 English-speaking networks, NOTHING appealed to me. Maybe it’s time for shows like “community” to be yanked. While they are at it, ‘Office’ should be gone too.

  2. Well, you’re an idiot who doesn’t understand satire.

  3. Simply the funniest, most inventive and often surreal show on TV. It’s loss won’t end world hunger or remove the Kardashians from our psyche, but it will give us a laugh in this less-than-pleasant world we live in.
