An actress who made her greatest impact on television before carving out a successful film career has been named “The No. 1 Hottest Woman of All Time” by Men’s Health, USA Today reports.

The actress is Jennifer Aniston, whose long run as Rachel on the hit NBC sitcom “Friends” during the 1990s and early 2000s was a springboard to a movie career that has included hits such as “The Break-Up,” “Bruce Almighty” and “Marley & Me.” She has been a mainstay of indie features as well, including “She’s the One,” “Office Space” and “The Good Girl.”

Coming in second on the list behind Aniston was Raquel Welch, the story reports. Rounding out the top 5, according to media reports, are Marilyn Monroe at No. 3, Britney Spears at No. 4 and Madonna at No. 5.

Aniston won an Emmy in 2002 for her role on “Friends,” a role for which she received a total of five nominations. More recently, she received another Emmy nomination in 2006 for a guest appearance on “30 Rock.”

  1. Aniston is beautiful, but she’s no Racquel Welch.

  2. Are you kidding me here? No way Anniston earned this title.

  3. I agree, Jennifer is an amazingly gorgeous woman, but there are definitely other woman out there who easily should have taken this title. OH well, kudos to Jen!
