ABC News is promoting a “Good Morning America” executive, creating the position of senior VP for content and development for “GMA” senior EP James Goldston, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

As part of the shuffle, Tom Cibrowski becomes executive producer of “GMA,” the story reports.

Making the announcement today was ABC News President Ben Sherwood.

The story reports: “The executive shuffle was not unexpected. Goldston, who came to ABC News in 2004 with correspondent Martin Bashir (now at MSNBC), has steadily risen at the news division. He successfully led the transition of ‘Nightline’ from the Ted Koppel era into a multi-topic newsmagazine that is besting late-night competitors Jay Leno and David Letterman. The promotion effectively makes Goldston Sherwood’s second-in-command.”

  3. Hey why not have a conservative run show supporting our Christian heritage and Constitutional values. Let’s have news that tells and shows what is really going on in this liberal sin sick country. You people ain’t got what it takes to have a proper correct display of the truth.
