A star of Syfy’s "Eureka" has been cast in Roseanne Barr’s NBC comedy along with a TV and film actor known for the UPN series “Love, Inc.,” reports Deadline.com.

"Eureka" star Salli Richardson joins the "Downwardly Mobile" pilot along with Greg Cromer, who will play Mr. Denby, a hedge funder who recently lost his money in a Ponzi scheme and tries for a fresh start in a trailer park.

Richardson will play his wife, who is miserable in her new location and plays the foil to Barr’s character, the story notes.

Barr plays Rose, the owner of the trailer home park during tough economic times, the piece adds.

Richardson played Allison Blake on "Eureka" during the past five years.
