Attention Media Agencies and Their Media Clients: PBS is Searching for Sponsor for Upcoming Series That’s a Spinoff of PBS’s Most-Watched Series

PBS is looking for a sponsor to back an upcoming series, reports our friend Jon Lafayette in B&C. The new show, from the producers of "Antiques Roadshow," is another take on antiques.

Called "Market Wars," the show will consist of one-hour episodes that track four antique experts who search for bargains at weekly auctions, the story says. The four will compete to see who scores the biggest profits.

"Antiques Roadshow" is sponsored by Subaru, and PBS would love to find an auto sponsor for the new show. "Antiques Roadshow" is PBS’s most-watched series, with a weekly audience of 9 million viewers, the story notes.
