An actress who once worked on the 2002 movie "The Adventures of Pluto Nash," in which Alec Baldwin had a cameo role, was arrested in New York on Sunday night for allegedly showing up at his Manhattan apartment and stalking him, reports the New York Post.

Canadian actress Genevieve Sabourin, 40, was charged with aggravated harassment and stalking.

Baldwin was in Long Island at the time and when the doorman called to report the woman at his apartment, he contacted the police. Sabourin had reportedly previously harassed Baldwin in his Hamptons home on March 31, prompting the actor to file a complaint with the police.

Sabourin has allegedly been sending emails and text messages to Baldwin saying she loves him and wants to have his baby — and also saying she needs money, according to the report.

She is listed as unit publicist on "Pluto Nash."

  1. Of course one hazards to wonder if the actor may have in some way given his ardent fan some sort of signal that he found her interesting which led to her seeking his affections or was this simply the case of one actress taking one role (in her mind) to unimagined levels?
