Cable channel BET has quietly made the decision to renew two comedy series, Deadline.com reports. The renewals are still unofficial, with an official announcement expected Thursday at BET’s upfront presentation.

The two shows are the channel’s flagship comedy "The Game" and the Queen Latifah-produced sophomore series "Let’s Stay Together."

The network is also considering renewing the freshman show "Reed Between the Lines," the story adds.

The most recent season of "The Game" debuted with 5.3 million viewers, while "Let’s Stay Together" opened with 3.5 million viewers, compared with 4.4 million for its series premiere, the story notes. "Reed" drew 3.3 million and 2.9 million viewers for its two back-to-back premiere episodes, the story adds.
