Angry Jack Osbourne Says He Was Fired From NBC Reality Show Because of His MS

Ozzie and Sharon Osbourne’s son Jack — who was recently diagnosed with multiple sclerosis — said during an appearance on CBS’s "The Talk" that a reality television show had dropped him because of his health issues, reports the U.K. newspaper The Sun.

While Osbourne did not say the name of the show, the newspaper reports it was NBC’s "Stars Earn Stripes." The premise of the show has stars working with former soldiers to try to conquer military-style obstacles.

Said Osbourne: “Out of everything, that’s what has really ticked me off the most because it’s like, ‘Don’t tell me what I can and cannot do’. At no point did they call me. It was all through agents and lawyers — I was offended by it.”

Sharon Osbourne, Jack’s mom, is a co-host on “The Talk.” She added, sarcastically: “It was a really nice email,” the paper reports.

"Stars Earn Stripes" debuts on NBC in August, with Dean Cain and Laila Ali among the cast members. A show source conceded to The Sun that the show’s producers didn’t think Jack was up to the challenges.

  1. Unfair to blame NBC — sounds like it was the production company, not the network.
Also, could it have been the insurance company? I know they refused to insure some actors for certain movie roles…

  2. WHAAAAAAAAA!!!! Millionare’s son got his TV show taken away…WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
