Woody Allen’s son with Mia Farrow, Ronan Farrow, sent out a Father’s Day tweet that made reference to his family’s unusual relationships with each other, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The 24-year-old tweeted: "Happy father’s day — or as they call it in my family, happy brother-in-law’s day." The reference was presumably to the marriage between Ronan’s famous director-father and Soon-Yi Previn, the adopted daughter of Farrow and Andre Previn.

Word is that Ronan Farrow stopped speaking to his father after news broke in 1992 that Allen and Soon-Yi were dating.

Ronan’s mother reportedly was among those who responded to the tweet, replying with a one-word answer: “Boom.”

Allen talked about the Soon-Yi scandal in an interview last year with Reuters, saying: "What was the scandal? I fell in love with this girl, married her. We have been married for almost 15 years now. There was no scandal, but people refer to it all the time as a scandal and I kind of like that in a way because when I go I would like to say I had one real juicy scandal in my life."

Allen’s new movie, “To Rome With Love,” comes out Wednesday. THR reports that in a promotional interview over the weekend, the director talked about celebrity worship, a theme of the movie. "It’s not so terrible,” he said, referring to fame. "The bad stuff is greatly outweighed by the dinner reservations."
