AMC has ordered a second season of the reality show "Small Town Security," and has also ordered eight episodes of a new unscripted program called "Road Show," about small-town talent shows, Deadline.com reports.

"Road Show" and season two of "Small Town Security" will premiere in the second quarter of 2013, after AMC debuts the new "Venice Beach Freakshow" and an untitled taxidermy series in the first quarter.

Joel Stillerman, AMC’s EVP of Original Programming, said in a statement: “’Small Town Security’ was such a great ride for us in Season 1, and we are thrilled to be able to continue that into a second season. ‘Road Show’ is a doc-style talent competition series that celebrates the stories of the people who ever sang into their hairbrush, or lost sleep over their premiere in a community theater production.”
