The award given to Don Johnson in a lawsuit over "Nash Bridges" has been reduced by $35 million, with the actor now slated to receive $15 million, reports TheWrap.com.

Rysher Productions, which produced the 1996-2001 TV show, was ordered in 2010 to pay Johnson $23 million in profits for the show and interest, along with an additional $28.5 million in interest.

After an appeal was filed by Rysher, which argued that the amount of interest was wrongly calculated and also alleged jury misconduct, the California Court of Appeal agreed with the production company. The court said Johnson should receive $15 million, plus interest as of July 2010, when the verdict was reached, the piece adds.
