Showtime Marketing Executive Dead at 61

A longtime marketing executive for Showtime’s in-house agency Red Group has died after battling cancer, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Frank Pintauro joined Showtime in 1989 after working at NBC Entertainment and ABC News, creating the pay network’s award-winning ad campaigns, the story notes. He was in charge of creative for on-air, editorial production, marketing promotion and graphics, animation, digital content and print, the piece adds.

"The success of Showtime is due in large part to Frank’s contributions over the past 20 years," Showtime Chairman and CEO Matthew C. Blank said in a statement.
