On a Sunday night when live football telecasts shuffled the ratings for a number of broadcast networks — meaning the preliminary numbers will be subject to more than the usual adjustments — ABC’s second-year drama series “Revenge” sank to a season-low 2.2 average rating in the key 18-49 demo, TVbytheNumbers.com reports.

Based on Nielsen overnights, the series was off 12% from its most recent installment Nov. 11. Elsewhere on ABC, “Once Upon a Time” was up 11% to a 3.0 and “666 Park Avenue” was even with a 1.2, while “America’s Funniest Home Videos” held steady with a 1.6.

Easily winning the night was NBC, which averaged a 5.5 in 18-49 for prime time, followed by Fox (3.7 average), CBS (2.1) and ABC (2.0). NBC also won total viewers, averaging 15.3 million for prime time, ahead of CBS (10.5 million), Fox (9.2 million) and ABC (6.5 million).

NBC’s coverage of the Packers-Giants NFL game delivered a 6.7 average rating in the 18-49 demo, up from a 6.0 for last week’s Sunday night game.

CBS and Fox were impacted by football overruns, but CBS scored a preliminary 2.5 average rating in 18-49 for “The Amazing Race,” a 4% improvement from a week ago, and a 1.8 for “The Mentalist,” up a hefty 29%, while “The Good Wife” delivered a 1.7, even with a week ago, and “60 Minutes” turned in a 2.2, down from a 3.0.

Fox saw “The Simpsons” climb an impressive 38% from a week ago to a 3.3 average in viewers 18-49, with “Bob’s Burgers” up 11% to a 2.0, “Family Guy” up 8% to a 2.8 and “The Cleveland Show” rising 19% to a 1.9.
