ABC Reduces Order for Midseason Comedy

Nov 12, 2012  •  Post A Comment

ABC has cut its order for a midseason comedy to 10 episodes, down from the original order for 13 episodes, reports Deadline.com. The series is "Family Tools."

The reason was scheduling, with the network determining that it needed the comedy for 10 weeks before "Dancing with the Stars" is slated to return. The comedy is scheduled to air Tuesdays at 8:30 p.m., helping to bridge the two cycles of the dance competition.

"Family Tools," based on the British series “White Van Man,” stars Kyle Bornheimer as a man who inherits his father’s handyman business.
