Just days after "iCarly" aired its finale — with 6.4 million viewers tuning in — Nickelodeon has picked up a spinoff bringing together a character from that show and one from the series "Victorious," according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed.

Called "Sam & Cat," the new show will feature Jennette McCurdy reprising her role as Sam Puckett from "iCarly" and Ariana Grande portraying Cat Valentine from "Victorious," the story notes. The show will track the pair as they become roommates and teen entrepreneurs who start a babysitting business.

The network, which ordered the pilot in August, has ordered 20 episodes, with the series to begin production in January and to debut sometime in 2013.

"iCarly" just ended its six-season run, while "Victorious" will finish its run next year.
