Barbara Streisand — who has a couple of Oscars of her own, for best actress in “Funny Girl” and best original song, “Evergreen,” in “A Star Is Born” — will sing at this year’s Oscars for only the second time in her career, Reuters reports.

“Streisand will perform again at the Academy Awards on Feb. 24, producers said on Wednesday, without providing details about how her appearance would fit into the show or what she might sing,” the story reports.

Streisand, 70, made her only previous appearance as a performer at the Oscars when she sang “Evergreen” at the 1977 ceremony.

In a statement, Craig Zadan and Neil Meron, the producers of this year’s ceremony, said: "In an evening that celebrates the artistry of movies and music, how could the telecast be complete without Barbra Streisand? We are honored that she has agreed to do a very special performance on this year’s Oscars."

The ceremony, to be hosted by Seth MacFarlane, will be televised live by ABC from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
