Report: ‘In Living Color’ Reboot Is Dead

Fox’s remake of "In Living Color" is dead, with Fox executives deciding they didn’t like the hour of footage that was taped last spring, reports Joe Adalian in New York Magazine’s Vulture blog.

As we reported previously, the remake had hired cast members and was scheduled to air after the network’s 25th anniversary in April 2012. The new project was executive produced by Keenen Ivory Wayans, creator and star of the original 1990s series.

While network chief Kevin Reilly said in July that the special wouldn’t air anytime soon, the project is now dead and won’t air, even as an eventual burn-off broadcast, the story says.
