A new telefilm about the legendary relationship between Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton is getting BBC America as a co-producer, reports Deadline.com.
Called "Burton and Taylor," the film comes on the heels of another project focusing on the pair, the 2012 Lifetime film "Liz & Dick," which starred Lindsay Lohan.
The newest project stars Dominic West and Helena Bonham Carter and tracks Taylor and Burton’s ill-fated Broadway appearances in a 1983 revival of Noel Coward’s "Private Lives." BBC America is joining BBC Drama Productions on the project.
