PBS’s ratings juggernaut “Downton Abbey” continues to set viewership records. The latest, according to EW.com’s Inside TV, is for the show’s third season, which ranks as PBS’s highest-rated drama of all time.

Season three averaged 11.5 million viewers over the course of a seven-episode season.

“For those keeping count, that’s up more than 60 percent from season two,” EW reports. “To top it off, the third-season finale, which aired on Feb. 17, attracted about 12.3 million viewers, beating all broadcast and cable competition airings in the time slot.”
