The O.J. Simpson trial has become a project at Fox, with the network working on a behind-the-scenes look at Simpson’s trial and acquittal in the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman, reports Deadline.com.
Called "The Run of His Life," the project comes from Nina Jacobson of the “Hunger Games" franchise and Brad Simpson and is based on the book from legal journalist Jeffrey Toobin.
Fox is also working on a project called "Shogun," based on the novel by James Clavell. The book has been the focus of a TV project before — NBC’s 12-hour limited series in 1980 that starred Richard Chamberlain and still ranks as one of the biggest TV events in history. The story tracks a British sailor who rises to samurai in 17th century Japan.
The new project comes from Michael De Luca of "The Social Network" and Nigel Williams of "Elizabeth I."
Both projects are from FX Productions.
