AMC Blames Zombies for Errors in ‘Walking Dead’ Ad

AMC took out a full-page ad in The New York Times to publicize its huge ratings for "The Walking Dead’s” finale on March 31, but unfortunately got a few things wrong, reports Deadline.

The ad bragged that "Walking Dead" beat "The Voice" and "Modern Family" — but misidentified their networks, placing "The Voice" on ABC (it airs on on NBC) and "Modern Family" as a Fox show (it airs on ABC).

AMC blamed the errors on the undead.

"It appears our fact checking department was overrun by zombies. We have the utmost respect for these shows and networks,” the network said in a statement Thursday.
