The producer of a successful drama series is reaching out to fans to plead that they not post photos or spoilers of the show as the production resumes for its third season, reports Deadline.com.

Producer Sue Vertue of the British hit “Sherlock” sent the plea to fans of the show, asking them to allow the crew to get on with its "punishing" schedule, which includes taping in London.

"What I am nervous about is that our London shooting schedule is punishing and will really give us very little time to interact with you. The actors really hope you understand that," she wrote.

She added, "Also, and I know this is probably asking a lot, the majority of fans and indeed ourselves would REALLY appreciate it if you didn’t post pictures or spoilers or ideally our daily locations."

"Sherlock" airs in the U.S. on PBS as part of the "Masterpiece" series.
