One of the stars of the MTV reality hit "Jersey Shore" says taping has begun on a new series. TMZ.com reports that “Jersey” alum Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino says the cameras are rolling on his own reality show.

The show is said to focus on the lives of Sorrentino and his relatives in the New Jersey suburbs. It’s not clear whether a network is attached yet, the story says, but the show is reportedly being taped in a rented house that’s next door to where "Jersey Shore" alums Snooki and JWoww taped their spinoff.
