One drama series went through the upfronts without learning whether NBC will renew it, but Deadline.com reports that at least one cable network is interested in the show, “Hannibal,” if NBC decides to pass.

Amazon has also expressed interest, the story adds. The show started off with strong numbers but viewers lost interest as the season progressed, and NBC has put its renewal decision on hold.

"There are no talks going on and ‘Hannibal’ has not been shopped as the producers are waiting on a renewal at NBC," the piece says.
